Fittigly since it’s International Women’s Day, punk-acoustic-poet Louise Distras has released her debut single and music video for the brand new track, ‘The Hand You Hold’. A firece anthem for female empowerment with it’s withering refrain ‘never let the hand you hold, hold you down’ watch it below.
It was engineered by Pat Collier ( New Model Army, X Ray Spex, Maximo Park ) and produced by Steve Whale at Perry Vale Studios in London, The Hand You Hold is taken from Louise Distras’ forthcoming debut album expected to be released in late 2012.
