Eight Years Late for Dinner’s Story
Inspired by the 80’s movie Flight of the Navigator,”Eight Years Late For Dinner” is a depiction of another life beingtaken aboard a ship by aliens leaving their current life and people (family,friends) behind. Unlike Flight of the Navigator though where the main characterreturns home eight years late for dinner, this version sees the subject beingsoulfully saved by this abduction, not wanting to ever return to their previouslife, choosing instead to stay where they are. The subject is also extremelythankful for the turn of events that lead them to this point in time and has visionsof both the past and what their future might have been if they did, indeed,return “Eight Years Late For Dinner”.
