The Magnetic Fields’ new single ‘Andrew In Drag’ will be released by Domino on Monday the 27th of February 2012. The provocative new video for the track is available to view HERE:
Created by New York-based Valins & Co. for the catchy first single from new album ‘Love At The Bottom Of The Sea’ (released on Monday the 5th of March), the video is a study of the process of transformation and the art of styling. Shot on the new RED Epix-X Camera, the visual direction follows suit with the pop pacing, candid musings and the ingenious lyrics of Stephin Merritt. According to director Scott Valins, “This piece was all about maintaining a constant balance and ambiguity”.
