The start of 2012 saw the release of “Ester”, the much anticipated debut LP from Trailer Trash Tracys, and to much critical acclaim too, with a whole slew of press praising its beautifully off-kilter sensibilities and daring sense of experimentation, paired with their unerring instinct for an infectious melody.
Now, the band are releasing their second video, for the gorgeous, spiralling “Engelhardt’s Arizona”, which was released as a double A-Side single with “You Wish You Were Red” in the fall of 2011. A surreal, cosmic conflagration of imagery pulled from underwater, space and performance footage, it is a visually striking and unique piece quite unlike any other, much like the album that it comes from.
In addition, following recent European and UK dates with the Vaccines and The Maccabees, the band support Tune-Yards as part of the NME Awards at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on February 15. Also, in support of their current Album of the Month slot at Rough Trade Shops, the band play Rough Trade East on Thursday (Feb 2).
