We are very pleased to announce that First Aid Kit have confirmed a 6 date UK tour for February 2012. This UK tour will follow on from the release of their brand new album ‘The Lion’s Roar’ which will be released on Wichita Records on 23rd January 2012.

First Aid Kit (aka sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg) spent much of 2011 in the US working on their forthcoming album with Mike Mogis (Bright Eyes, Monsters of Folk). The album’s title track will be released as the first single on 5th Dec.
Fresh from supporting fellow Swede Lykke Li in the US, First Aid Kit will be in the UK for a one off headline show at Bush Hall on 6th Dec to celebrate the release of this new single.
The band have had an amazing couple of months. Early in November they performed on Letterman alongside Lykke Li, whilst at Sweden’s Polar Music Prize they performed a stunning cover of ‘Dancing Barefoot’ for (a crying) Patti Smith. Watch both videos at the links below:
