‘Back of Your Neck’ is the first track to be taken from Howler’s debut album ‘America Give Up’ (out 16th January), and Rough Trade are giving it away as a free MP3, get a slice of its euphoric Americana below. Howler is the brain child of the band’s 19-year-old frontman, Jordan Gatesmith. Joining him in the group are Ian Nygaard (guitar), France Camp (bass), Max Petrek (keyboards) and Brent Mayes (drums).
Tonight the Minneapolis group will play their first ever UK show at The Garage (upstairs) in London. They will then embark on a full UK tour opening for The Vaccines, (all dates can be found on their website) as well as the following UK/EUR headline shows:
