Following the band’s 2009 full-length “Travels With Myself And Another,” Polymers Are Forever will expand on the band’s razor sharp and brash sound. Pitchfork.com proclaimed, “It’s been far, far too long since we last heard from Welsh rabblerousers Future of the Left, with 2009’s awesome Travels With Myself and Another being their last missive.”

Two years later, FOTL is ready to release new material under a new label and with a new lineup. The quartet parted ways with 4AD last year and welcomed Julia Ruzicka (bass) to the FOTL crew, which currently consists of former Mclusky members and FOTL cofounders, Andrew Falkous (vocals and guitar) and Jack Egglestone (drums), as well as Jimmy Watkins (guitar). With the EP’s release date fast-approaching, “perennial industry curmudgeons” should rejoice, said CMJ.com. Fans’ smiles should be extended even further with news of FOTL’s full-length release, “The Plot Against Common Sense,” in early 2012.
