Holy Ghost! spent the better part of 2010 on the road with the likes of LCD Soundsystem and Chromeo. In 2011, they shifted into high gear, with the release of their eponymous debut LP in April on DFA Records, thrilling the longtime fans of their ubiquitous singles and remixes. Album tracks like “Do It Again”, “Wait & See”, and most recently “Some Children” (feat. Michael McDonald) have been mainstays on the blogosphere and probably every party you went to over the last 6 months.
Now Holy Ghost! are releasing their latest single, crowd favorite “Hold My Breath” co-written with Austrian DJ buddy Wolfram. Out October 17th, the single EP will feature remixes from Tiger & Woods, Cosmic Kids and Falty DL. There is also an accompanying music video, which falls in line with the ever growing catalogue of stellar videos. Collaborating again with director and close friend Ben Fries, this latest video is a funny and sentimental look into the personal lives of Nick Millhiser and Alex Frankel.
