Zebra & Snake is Tapio & Matti, childhood friends from the small town of Alajärvi in rural Finland. They make twinkling, gothic pop music that echoes the sound of their homeland; a beautiful open landscape spotted with silent darkness. Their first album will be called “Healing Music” – both are rapt with the idea of music as healing, as an artistic form of therapy. Fittingly then, Empty Love Song is a huge, heartfelt call out to a lost love, building from whispering octaves to an epic conclusion.
