‘Chemicals’ will be released on Monday 3rd October 2011 through Hideout Recordings, Various Cruelties’ first release since signing to the label.
The single follows the band’s two well–received self-released singles, Neon Truth and If It Wasn’t For You, both of which sold-out of their limited runs within days of being put on sale via Ebay, Rough Trade London, Pure Groove London, Piccadilly Manchester and Insound New York . They both picked up significant radio support on Radio One, XFM and Steve Lamacq.
