dEUS preview their first album for three years with a new single to download on 26th September. ‘Constant Now’ is taken from the ‘Keep You Close’ album and is a perfect taster for an album that is already rocking the Q stereo.
‘Constant Now’, as with all of ‘Keep You Close’ was recorded by the band and producers David Bottrill and Adam Noble at dEUS’s Antwerp studio. Moving away from the studio writing approach that characterised the ‘Vantage Point’ album, the band jammed tracks live and took opportunities at festivals to demo new songs in front of audiences before settling on final versions of the tracks. The result is an album that goes ‘to your legs and your heart’ in the words of frontman Tom Barman.
dEUS visited London earlier in the year for a crammed, sold out show at Highbury’s Garage and return for a second London show in October alongside a date in the Republic Of Ireland.
The album, ‘Keep You Close’ follows on 3rd October.
