Zebrahead New Album & one-off date in London

zebrahead smallZebrahead’s new album ‘Get Nice!’ is to be released in the UK on the 27th August 2011.

This Orange County punk band have sold over 1.5 million albums to date, and this release (produced by Jason Freese) is followed by a one-off UK gig.

The band will play at London’s Garage on Monday 8th August (tickets available here).

Frontman Ali Tabatabaee said of Get Nice: “We made a conscious effort to push ourselves into new directions with these songs.There are definitely some zebrahead staples on the album, but we also havesongs that we play with tempo and song structure. We are going to Europe, Japan, and for thefirst time Australia starting in the end of July. I think this album willdefinitely win a Nobel Peace Prize, get you a raise, and get your girlfriendpregnant all at the same time. It’s that good!”

The video for new single ‘Ricky Bobby’ – which is taken from the forthcoming album – is now available to watch online.
