‘Don’t Worry’ is taken from About Group’s latest album, ‘Start & Complete’. On just my first listen this track, and I’d already fallen deeply in love with it. It’s an uber soothing and also emotional track. It always calms me down after a long, hard day. Kudos must be given to Hot Chip‘s Alexis Taylor’s voice, which is very soft and calming.
‘Don’t Worry’ has a very simple arrangement with only some organ, guitar, piano, drums and vocals. Despite this minimalism, this does not diminish its amazingness. It’s very soulful and relaxing. The story behind this song is very interesting too. The album ‘Start & Complete’, from which this first release was taken, was recorded in only one day at Abbey Road. The mixing took only three days. The recording process was short, but ace. The experimental process makes the uncluttered outcome even more exciting and unique.
