Recently voted Best New Band of 2011 by Portland’s Willamette Week, the newspaper is one of many American broadcasters peddling the work of simmering sons And And And.
It’s not hard to see why. The six piece’s thriving rock and trash sound finally offers a stateside alternative to Britain’s math rock revival, calling to mind Violent Femmes as much as contemporary band Balkans. You can buy their Buy You EP here. And And And’s Blitzen Trapper-produced debut album is due later on in the year.
