This month, Teengirl Fantasy – aka Nick Weiss and Logan Takahashi – hit the road in the UK and Europe in support of Animal Collective.
Showcasing material from their critically lauded debut album “7AM”, released last year on Merok/True Panther Sounds, the duo tap into a vein of electronic music quite unlike any other – a densely cluttered, richly colourful stream of consciousness which may often dart in many directions at once, paying homage to everything from old video games, 90’s shoegaze, rave and even vintage hip hop divas, before assimilating it into one seamless whole. Catch these dates when you can; the band will be heading into a studio shortly after to work on brand new material, and who knows what they’ve got up their sleeves when they emerge…
