‘K is for Kelson’ is the shimmering, summery new track from Bibio’s forthcoming album ‘Mind Bokeh’, to be released as a single with three new B-sides on May 23rd. Watch the video below!
‘K is for Kelson’ will be released as a limited 4 track 12” featuring an alternative version of the track and 3 brand new songs. The track is a multi-instrumental smorgasbord, with Bibio (aka Stephen Wilkinson) playing every instrument – including a bermibau, brandy glasses and a Chinese silk fan!
It follows the release of introductory track and Clash single of the week ‘Excuses’, described by the magazine as “one of Bibio’s finest achievements to date” and a recent split 12” with Clark for Recordstore Day.
Bibio’s being heard in all kinds of places these days – from BBC1’s London Marathon coverage to the Amazon Kindle ad to daytime Radio 1, following the release of his kaleidoscopic new album ‘Mind Bokeh’, which is the recipient of rave reviews right across the board.
