Much-hyped Manchester hardcore garage-punk band Denim & Leather have just released their second EP, the imaginatively titled Denim & Leather II. It’s another five tracks of unrelenting in-your-face, yet its still a highly catchy, body of work. ‘Pink Flamingoes‘, however, stands out as significantly less brutal. Despite its miserable subject matter, the song is upbeat and almost chirpy-sounding, mostly due to the infectious guitar hook.
