Boston group Slowdim self- released their rather ace debut album last year, one of the highlights was the upbeat jangle of ‘Wishing Well.’ Its marvelous ear-worm melody rings with the memory of the superlative hi-fi melodicism of Jimmy Eat World‘s ‘Bleed America’ era and The Shins’s indefinable ability to lace an epic guitar pop song with introspective singalong lyrics! What’s more one of their friends has put together a brilliant video to accompany the track, using footage of 80’s toys.
In the meantime, Slowdim are starting to write for ‘an EP of sorts’ which we look forward too greatly! Open your windows and turn this one up loud!
